The vast majority of tourists rent a car on the island to get to the town. This town is located 60 km from Palma de Mallorca. To get there, take the MA-13 motorway and you&#8217;ll quickly see the turnoff to the town.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to take public transportation. In this case, you can take lines 351 and 352. As for the journey time, it usually takes about an hour and a half.<\/p>\n<p>Some tourists take the opportunity to go by bike. The journey offers truly beautiful paths, although the route is quite long.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1KRYt17ZS-c9qDiFlw4xcTjmLMeXN9oA&amp;ehbc=2E312F&amp;noprof=1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_it_easy_to_park_in_Alcudia\"><\/span>Is it easy to park in Alc\u00fadia?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Because the town is visited by many tourists, you can find a wide variety of free parking lots in the village. All are well signposted, so you won&#8217;t have any trouble finding them. The closest to the center are the Ca Na Pila and Sa Talaia parking lots, although there are more options to choose from.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_to_see_in_Alcudia_in_one_day\"><\/span>What to see in Alc\u00fadia in one day<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To enjoy Alc\u00fadia, I recommend starting your visit in the morning. You can take advantage of the morning to visit the following destinations and start enjoying it to the fullest.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Medieval Walls<\/strong>: Visiting the walls is usually the first thing people do. To enter, I recommend entering through the San Sebasti\u00e1n Gate. From there, it&#8217;s very easy to explore the medieval walls, which were built in the 14th century. From the walls, you can enjoy beautiful views.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Church of San Jaime<\/strong>: Located in the old town, it stands out for its beautiful 13th-century Gothic church.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Traditional Alc\u00fadia Market<\/strong>: Visiting the traditional market will allow you to enjoy crafts, clothing, and local products. The market is open on Tuesdays and Sundays, so I recommend visiting the town on those two days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10238 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cuevasdelshams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/murallas-e-iglesia-alcudia-mallorca-dinosaurland.jpg\" alt=\"Medieval Walls and Church of Sant Jaume | Dinosaurland\" width=\"850\" height=\"638\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Take advantage of midday to eat and recharge your batteries to continue enjoying the town to the fullest for the rest of the day. In the center of Alcudia, you&#8217;ll find a large number of restaurants where you can enjoy typical local food.<\/p>\n<p>When choosing a restaurant, you can opt for Can Costa, one of the best-known and most highly reviewed in the town. You can also opt for other options such as Sa Portassa, where tapas are the star.<\/p>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve recharged your batteries, you can enjoy more sightseeing around the town. There are still many remains that will allow you to easily travel back in time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pollentia Monographic Museum<\/strong>: Located near the historic center. Inside, you can see a large number of Roman remains and better understand how people lived in the area.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alc\u00fadia Seafront and Port<\/strong>: Ending the evening on Alc\u00fadia&#8217;s seafront is a great option. In the area, you can enjoy great views and relax in one of its bars or restaurants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunset at La Victoria<\/strong>: To end the day, you can enjoy the Sanctuary of La Victoria. It&#8217;s a bit far from town, about 7 km, but in return, you&#8217;ll enjoy a breathtaking sunset. From there, you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea as the sun sets. It&#8217;s a peaceful place, although it&#8217;s true that more and more tourists are visiting at sunset to enjoy its beauty. Even so, it&#8217;s still worth it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To recharge your batteries, I recommend returning to the center of Alc\u00fadia and having dinner at one of its restaurants. La Fonda Llabr\u00e9s is usually a popular spot for its themed dinners. Another option is to visit Bistro 19009, where you can enjoy a high-quality Mediterranean dish.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Alc\u00fadia Night Market<\/strong>: Getting to the Alc\u00fadia Night Market is very easy because it&#8217;s located in the center. You&#8217;ll find a lively area there.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nightclubs:<\/strong> To end the day, you can visit one of the nightclubs. It&#8217;s located in the port of Alc\u00fadia. There are different options to choose from; you&#8217;re sure to find the one that best suits your needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips_for_enjoying_Alcudia\"><\/span>Tips for enjoying Alc\u00fadia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>First of all, I recommend bringing a map of Alc\u00fadia so you don&#8217;t miss a single detail of the town.<\/p>\n<p>The best time to visit Alc\u00fadia is spring and autumn, as this is a very pleasant time.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to enjoy special events, you can visit the town during the Roman Festival.
